We are privileged to support an organization that honored our Korean War Veteran founder with a life-changing trip to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials and experience a day of honor and thanks. The coming home celebration at the airport is something everyone should experience.

Having been supporters of the local scholarship foundation since its founding in 1987, we have actively assisted in their fundraising efforts. Now we are also proud to specifically fund the William (Bob) Rathsack scholarship, in memory of the company founder.

Stony Hill School, right down the road from us, is where in 1885 a young teacher named Bernard J. Cigrand started his fervent, thirty year quest. It led to President Wilson calling for a National Flag Day and President Truman signing an Act of Congress declaring June 14th as a day to celebrate the Stars and Stripes. We have supported this patriotic organization, by serving on their board, judging their essay competitions, riding in their parades and making pins for the annual celebration.

We are excited by the long history of service we have been able to provide to our local, non-political, service organization, from leadership in the Lions and Lioness Clubs, storage of their supplies in our warehouse and volunteering for countless events. It has been rewarding helping out Samaritan Purse with their annual Operation Christmas Child that distributes shoe boxes filled with hygiene products, school supplies, toys and other goodies to millions of kids around the world each year. Whether it has been gathering supplies, filling boxes at packing parties, assisting at the regional distribution center or simply storing pallets of supplies in our warehouse, it has been worth every moment.

4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. For more than 100 years, 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better. We have enjoyed bidding at their annual livestock auction at our local Ozaukee County Fair, with trophies to prove our commitment.

Through the years we have been pleased to play a small part in groups such as Woodview Clubs, Destination Imagination, First Lego League, the Music program, Swim team and many others through volunteer leadership and funding.
